Livelihood skills training for single mothers and youth plays a crucial role in fostering economic independence and improving overall quality of life. These programs are designed to equip participants with practical, market-relevant skills that enable them to earn a sustainable income. For single mothers, who often face the dual responsibility of caregiving and providing for their families, such training offers an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and dependence. Skills in areas like tailoring, cosmetology, food processing, and small-scale entrepreneurship are commonly taught, enabling them to start their own businesses or gain employment in local industries.

The Programme seeks to foster safer communities, promote human rights and improve the system of justice in Uganda. In particular the programme works to: advance access to justice for disadvantaged and marginalized children and young people in Uganda and inculcate respect and justice as well as promoting human rights principles as the basis for peace and development.

At ReRAN, we believe that empowering young mothers and youth is vital to building strong, self-reliant communities. Through our programs, we provide access to education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship support that equips them with the practical skills needed to earn a stable income and actively contribute to local development.

We focus on financial literacy, digital skills, and small business development to open up real opportunities for employment and self-employment. For young mothers, we advocate for and support access to affordable childcare, flexible learning options, and mentorship, helping them participate fully in economic activities while balancing family responsibilities

ReRAN works hand-in-hand with governments, NGOs, and the private sector to create inclusive and supportive environments where young people and mothers can thrive. We pay special attention to reaching marginalized groups, ensuring no one is left behind. By investing in their potential, we are not only reducing poverty but also fueling innovation, resilience, and inclusive growth across our communities.
