Background
Rebuild Rural African Network (ReRAN-Uganda), a dynamic non-profit organization, was founded in 2012 with a bold vision to reshape the narrative of rural youth in Africa. Rooted in a deep belief in the untapped potential of young people, ReRAN-Uganda is committed to nurturing the next generation of changemakers through a fresh, innovative approach to leadership development—experiential learning..
By immersing youth in real-world challenges and opportunities, ReRAN-Uganda equips them not only with practical skills but also with the confidence and resilience needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. The organization takes a holistic approach, recognizing that true empowerment goes beyond academics or vocational training. It involves building character, fostering critical thinking, encouraging community engagement, and nurturing a deep sense of purpose.
Through mentorship, hands-on training, and community-based projects, ReRAN-Uganda provides the tools and platforms necessary for youth to become visionary leaders—individuals who can inspire, innovate, and drive sustainable change in their communities.
RWe invite you to join us in rewriting the story of rural Africa, one youth at a time. Together, we can empower young people not just as beneficiaries of development, but as active caretakers and architects of their communities and the world at large.
